C450 AMG Sport discussion only.
I got quoted 975 for a partial front (curved) wrap which include ~20inches of the hood, fenders, full front bumper, mirrors, and headlights. Also having tints installed but not sure which ones I should go with. Any suggestions on the tints to use? Also, I'm planning on getting 20s in the rear windshield and 30-35s on the sides.
As for tints, I'm going 30% rear, side, sunroof...and then I may put 70% on the windshield.
Front windshield tint is illegal in Ohio, so I don't want to go any darker because I don't want to have to **** with the cops pulling me over when they get on a power trip.
bought a 2016 c450 and just noticed it was built in the USA by Diamler.
Are all c450s in north america built in the states? Is there any difference between a German and US built C450?
Yes, all W205 C-Class Sedans for North America are made in Alabama. They have some different options and different engine choices in other parts of the world, but it is the same car. Over in Europe, I believe the German plant only builds certain configurations and a number of cars for Europe and other parts of the world are built in South Africa as well.
Right-to-work states only, aka, as far away from the crappy-*** workmanship of the United Auto Workers union worker. Poor leadership & management, with poor training & supervision is what you get above the U.S. Mason-Dixon line. In fact, ever wonder why MB is in Alabama, Nissan-Infiniti in Tennessee, BMW in S. Carolina? And why Toyota moved its HQ from Cali to Texas? I rest my case.
Question is: Are Chrysler UAW workers up north still boozin' & puffin' it up in the park on their lunch breaks anymore? (Oh my, do I hear their defenders coming for me?? That 44-year old retired UAW dude living the high life in Lansing off a sweet taxpayer-ripped off pension??? Oooh!! Scaaaared!!!)
Frickin banditos.

Here is a pic of it getting the expel installed. These guys just finished a 2016 X5M and have a Model X and a GSF waiting to be done along with a 550xi that came in after me

I got it on my c450 and it is very legit! Easy install and great power. After about a week it was fully broke in and car moves!!!!

I need rear flics! Please someone find me some OEM rear flics! The Hong Kong models just got cheaper and I'm feeling weak. They're so cheap that it's almost worth buying them as a temporary fix.
I am a little worried that once I get flics, I'm going to end up blacking out the trunk spoiler, chrome trunk stripe, and door handles. You know... the whole once you go black thing?

LMAO......Yea.....lots poor workers building the cars at the Alabama plant also. They are just as bad as anywhere and anyone else in the USA regardless of where they are at. I have worked on many levels of management in the manufacturing segment...and tired of the "Me no understand" or "no comprehend-re" when they screw up; but when you screw up on their paycheck, they suddenly can speak great English!!! I bought a C450 that several problems due to assembly line errors...molding not installed correctly, a body panel with poor fit, and an extra inspection shield from the underside for the power steering floating around on the bottom engine pan cover that eventually got wrapped up in a belt in the engine, causing problems and a suspension/steering problem; so in total for my first 62 days of ownership, my car was in the shop for 44 days and in my possession for 18 days. I got to liking the C300 loaner better than my C450.

Just remember it is management's fault also that things got out of hand. It takes both parties to agree to the union contracts!! Right?? Both sides were getting plenty fat before the Japanese shook things up...and the American consumer accepting bad products. I can remember Roger Smith, past GM CEO saying if we build it...America will buy it because we are "GM". And I am upper management and a small business owner if you wonder!!
