I run 19" x 8.5 +40, 245/35/19 Front, 255/35/19 Rear with 10mm spacers all around.
Perfect if you ask me. See attached. BTW, I even run 265 for winters in the rear without problem. (I had a set
from a previous vehicle so that's why I use them).

go squared - can rotate increasing longevity and will make the car more neutral in terms of handling.

unless you're tuned.

Hi guys
I´ve been looking for rims that will surely fit, but it´s a jungle out there. Have tried to read most in this thread, but maybe not all. So, I had my C43 coupe at the local wheel dealer here in south Sweden and measured clearance with OEM 19" wheels. At rear its no probs both in and outside, could probably swallow 10" wide rims. But the front clearance with the very narrow OEM 7,5" is just 15mm inner from suspension strut and 11mm outside before sticking outside the fender. Means if you go up to 8,5" in front, they will stick out even with minimum clearance inside. I don´t want that. 8" is the most narrow aftermarket I can find, and it will be with ET30-35. My dealer found a very useful site to calculate how your new setup affects inwards and poke out: www.willtheyfit.com

Wooooah that was a lot of reading. So after 5 bent wheels and 1 cracked rim Ive decided to throw in the towel with these trash AMG wheels. I went ahead and ordered the Vorsteiner VFF-107 wheels
Front: 19 x 8.5 et 30
Rear: 19 x 9.5 et 46
Im currently running Michelin AS3+ stock sizes (225/40R19 & 255/35R19), My plan was to size up to 235/40 and 265/35, but unfortunately Michelin doesn't make the AS3+ in the 235/40 size. My options are to switch to different brand/model tires (which I do not want to do), Stick with the stock tire sizes or upsize to 245/35R19 and 275/30R19 (if it will fit), If I size up in width, I would have to size down is ratio, would this effect drivability?.Also which set up would look more visually appealing and are there any benefits/drawbacks from either tire set up? Thanks in advance gang.

Truly awesome setup.

Based on what I’m looking at, my planned upgrade to 20x10.5ET52 is looking very promising.

Thanks. Keep wanting to switch it up but never actually pull the trigger.

You need to be mid et50's for 10.5 in the rear.

I replied too fast without recalling properly. I referred to my notes and the ET I’ve planned is 52. I’ve edited my post.

I’m going to do C63 front fenders and am estimating the fronts to be 20x9ET24 on 245.

Yes, it will. If you can spare a little and go with height adjustable springs, it’ll be better, specially on 20’s.

I plan to do the same 10.5” but, 19’s not 20’s. Let us know what ET you finally end up with. I wanna go et 55 or 57, because it’s easier to add a spacer if it gets too close to the inside of the wheel well, than close to the fender.

So I was able to find some wheels with the following specs:

19x8.5 ET32
19x9.5 ET45

Going to be running 225/40/19 & 265/35/19. Will these fit without spacers at the front because of the +3 offset that the wheels? Currently on stock height and have no plans to lower it.

19x9.5 et46
(verified that 19x8.5 et35 clear brake calipers in the V-FF 107)
Would you know if Vorsteiner VFF-112 with the same setup above fit a factory height C43?

Anyone else trying to keep 18's for ride quality? One of my factory rims is cracked and I need to get it repaired or replaced.

There are sets of wheels out there for the cost of one OEM replacement.

thoughts on running 18x8.5et 35 235/40/18 & 18x9.5et35 265/35/18?

I'm open to running spacers, would prefer not to. Thanks for the help!

Sadly, no. There’s just so little concavity to be had on this platform.

went with cheaper rims as I will be returning car after lease...I will just sell them before return and the amg 18" oem will serve as my winters. They are 20" ...rears are 10" wide...fronts are 8.5" with 5 mm spacer. I was gonna go black but happy with the chrome..more pop...CHEERS
