and also with all the bolt on parts listed has been done how much horsepower can we expect to gain? thanks

That's a pretty comprehensive list, although many of those are not really necessary or cost effective. A good example is intakes, most of them are total waste of money for only a few HP gain. You are better off just doing K&N drop in panel filters for $80 and not doing anything else to the intake system, AMG did an amazing job with the stock airbox, its both cold & ram air. Its not where the real bottle neck is on our cars.
Also, plug wires are honestly overrated and do not really do anything for power. They do look fancy but the OEM wires are more than capable of doing the job. Some claim they are "smoother" than stock but again that's comparing old worn stock wires vs. brand new aftermarket ones. If you were to compare then new vs. new the difference would not be noticed at all (unless it was purely psychological) . In addition, installing & removing them can be a total nightmare compared to stock ones as they are a tight fit.
Removing both primaries & secondary cats are a big no-no, don't even think about it, that's not an option. I wouldn't touch primaries either, Just do the high flow secondaries.
hope that helps.

Its not worth the terrible smell and raspiness. If you only have 2 sets of cats anyways then just replace them with high flow 300-cell metal core cats, that will significantly improve performance without any drawbacks.
#13
Correct, they do make power but really only at higher rpms (usually 5000rpm+ is where most of the gains are). However, in conjunction with our crank pulley they make good numbers and do maximize HP out of the entire pulley system for those looking to squeeze out every last HP.

I seem a bit confused. If you have secondary cats, you suggest replacing them with 2nd high flow cats while maintaining original primaries. So, if you only have primary cats, why is it necessary to replace them with high flow 300-cell cats?

i can leave with the smell and emisions sice itsnto an issue n our country cause we dont have that much restrictions on sound and emision on vehicles... what would b the pros and cons of removing both primary nd secondary thanks!

+++++++++, the primarys are an extreme restriction in the final of the exhaust manifold same as said AMS. i can said how i feel in my car (primary & secondary delats with only 2 O2's) i fell a little lose low end torque (1000 - 2000 rpm's range), but really a minimal "take in accont in a 350 hp's + 1 or 2 hp's is imposible feeling) but really about 3000rpm+ the difference are drastical in a hi end torque! im not have dyno charts for this mod, but work!
If you go to remove yours (purchase the right exhaust union sealant "befor the secondary cat" mid the union with 2 screws.. always broken when you uninstall the exhaust system)
Hope that help

thanks so i will be able to gainalot from deleting it.. thats good. how about in headers which would you prefer ams or kleemann? thanks! im aiming for mid to highend power
#21
There is almost no difference between the two if you upgrade your secondary cats with the shorties, you get the same top end. It is the upgrading/removal of one set of cats that gives you that extra top end not so much the headers themselves. The shorties just do it without sacrificing any bottom end.

so does this mean that the extra lenght of pipe from the long tube headers does not have a different effect on power if compared wit the hort type headers? thanks
#24
They do slightly as far as where the power comes, but overall "meat under the curve" is very close to each other. Remember, "Long tube" headers which on MB cars aren't even really long tubes (just by name) get much of their power because they delete the primary cats. That's there a huge % of the power comes from. In addition, removing the restricting of the stock primary diameter (going from 1.4" to a larger size) is where majority of the remaining power to be had comes from. The length of the tubing only make a small difference in power in that it shifts power from the lower end of the power band and pushes it up to the higher rpms, but the area under the curve (once you isolate all other factors) hasn't really changed much at all.
